Mazfest 2008 Announced

Mazfest, now in its fourth year, is returning to Buttonwillow Raceway on July 12 - 13. This is a fantastic opportunity to get some track time in  along with other Mazda owners. There will also be a car show, RX-7-specific lapping, car clinics, vendors and more!

Mazfest offers on-track and off-track events at Buttonwillow Raceway on July 12 - 13, 2008.

This is what you've been waiting for! MazFest returns for its FOURTH  year with a full weekend event with two days of track time at the exciting and challenging Buttonwillow Raceway. The full road course will be run both Saturday & Sunday. This is your chance to satisfy your craving for speed! This will be a low traffic event, with more than two hours of track time, instruction and class techniques per day for drivers of all levels. Timing transponders will also be available in advance through a registration page.

Believe it or not, racing is not on everybody’s wish list. If you think your car is unique and has what it takes, enter your Mazda ride in the MazFest 2008 car show competition. We will have different categories to suit your rides modifications and model. Weather your car has more Zoom- Zoom or stereo boom-boom, there is a car show class for you. This event is sponsored by International All Stars with prizes donated by Mothers.

As if the track and car show aren’t quite enough to fill your Mazda prescription, as always our event is choc full of vendors, along with tech clinics, and Sevens Only racing will be available with their in house dyno and shop to get your car tuned up and ready for next years event.

Participants are welcome to bring family, friends and a picnic. The facility has an indoor building at Buttonwillow raceway with air conditioning, covered picnic tables and much shade overlooking the track itself. Please feel free to bring E-Z Up Canopies or chairs.
